Duct mounting angles are installed on both sides of the shaft wall at duct penetrations, sealed with joint sealant. The wall assembly utilizes J-track top and bottom runners with metal stud framing per partition type schedules. Sections 1-1, 2-2, and 3-3 detail the duct mounting and framing conditions around the penetration.
