This built-in tiered seating assembly is constructed on a structural base of two-by-four nominal fire-treated wood framing spaced at sixteen inches on center typically. The horizontal and vertical surfaces are finished with three-quarter-inch cabinet-grade multi-ply Baltic birch plywood featuring exposed multi-ply edges finished with one clear coat. Selected vertical faces feature metal plate steel finished with two coats of clear lacquer over three-quarter-inch plywood and scribed to the wall. The lower tier incorporates an eighteen-inch hold supporting a two-inch high-density foam upholstered cushion attached via velcro, detailed with a fabric bench seat cushion allowance. The upper tier accommodates a custom artificial moss manufactured plant planter sized per plan.
