A pressure reducing valve assembly is housed within a thirteen by twenty-four inch plastic valve box featuring a bolt-down lid set flush with the finish grade. The assembly connects to a mainline from the point of connection using schedule eighty PVC male adapters and is supported by four bricks resting on a four-inch deep bed of pea gravel with no soil inside the valve box. Two pressure gauges with Irrometer model seven dash one hundred ninety to one hundred PSI capabilities are included, with the tee rotated for ease of reading. The system continues through the valve to remote control valves with an eighteen-inch depth requirement to the bottom pipe invert and a four-inch minimum clearance from the top of the reducing valve to the underside of the box lid.
