An aluminum storefront jamb connects to vision glazing and spandrel glass assemblies with an intervening sealant joint. Foil-faced mineral fiber insulation fills the framing cavity, while foil face tape seals the vapor barrier. Additional batt insulation lines the adjacent wall framing cavity. The assembly maintains a thermal break and moisture seal around the window opening.
