A partition wall terminates at a curtain wall mullion with joint sealant applied at the junction near the edge of slab. The assembly connects an interior gypsum board partition to an exterior aluminum curtain wall profile designated as tower curtain wall with GL-1 glazing. Flexible joint sealant and backer rod fill the gap between the partition base and the aluminum mullion profile.
