An entrance grille and entrance mat assembly set into a four-inch concrete curb at a slab-on-grade transition. The concrete substrate receives a continuous traffic coating beneath the metal threshold and grating. A bevel with a maximum slope of one-to-two transitions from the storefront face down to the walking surface, maintaining a maximum rise of one-half inch. Sill treatment is detailed per adjacent sheet references.
