An exterior elevator threshold junction connects a stainless steel elevator door and jamb to a concrete landing slab or concrete over metal decking. A steel angle and embed are provided for the door sill, with exact sizing and attachment coordinated with the elevator manufacturer. A metal termination strip and sealant joint occur at the floor finish transition, while a four-inch minimum closure plate and fire caulking are detailed below the slab edge. Structural connections are coordinated per reference drawings for the steel angle and elevator shaft landing.
