A door frame is installed in a metal framed wall with gypsum board on both sides. The metal framing is per the structural drawings, and the gypsum board and finish layers are per the schedule. Insulation is provided within the stud cavity where required. The door frame is set with a 1 inch clearance at the head and 3/4 inch at the jamb. The rough opening and door opening dimensions are coordinated with the door swing.
