A skewed L4x4x3/8 brace frames into a W24 beam supported by an HSS5x5 column. The connection utilizes a skewed three-eighths-inch full-depth stiffener plate welded to the beam flanges and web with quarter-inch double fillet welds. An identical three-eighths-inch full-depth stiffener plate is provided on the opposite side, similarly welded to the beam flanges and web.
