The protected membrane extends continuously across the deck and turns up the vertical wall a minimum of eight inches, with the substrate conditioned per membrane manufacturer recommendations. A detail membrane is applied over the sill angle, across the sill, extending four inches up the jambs, and wrapping around the sill rough opening. The frame rough opening must be constructed according to door and threshold manufacturer requirements.
