A new pipe strut is welded to an existing structural steel column, connecting to a built-up cruciform section as specified in the structural drawings. Existing 2-inch by 1-inch by 7/8-inch steel channels are spaced at 16 inches on center behind existing porcelain enamel non-insulated panels. Exterior plaster with paper-backed metal lath is patched and repaired to match the existing finish. All joints are sealed watertight all around, and fireproofing at structural members is restored to match the original fire rating typically.
