This assembly consists of steel channel stringers supporting diamond plate treads and landings with full angled returns at the front and back. The stair is secured to the building wall using a Wej-It expansion anchor connection. At the base, the stringer is anchored to the concrete landing via a slotted bolt connection to allow for thermal movement or adjustment. A 1-1/2 inch diameter pipe handrail is mounted to the stair, with all welds ground smooth to ensure a continuous finish. The guardrail height is maintained at 42 inches above the stair nosing.
