A continuous twenty-gauge one-and-one-half-inch by one-and-one-half-inch wall angle supports the acoustical or drywall suspension system at the perimeter partition. Number ten self-tapping screws secure the main runner or studs to the wall angle at a maximum spacing of eight inches on center. Hanger wires suspend the grid system from the overhead structure with saddle ties secured using number eighteen wire.
