An unconditioned foundation wall assembly uses soldier piles and lagging backed by a shotcrete wall noted on structural drawings. A self-adhering sheet waterproofing membrane is applied directly over the structure, covered by a molded-sheet drainage panel. The assembly faces unconditioned space and lies outside the thermal envelope.
