This wall to soffit junction detail is constructed with cold-formed metal stud framing and exterior sheathing wrapped in a weather barrier. The exterior is finished with a metal panel system and continuous insulation requiring a deferred shop drawing submittal and engineering data per specifications. The cavity is filled with a minimum R-13 batt insulation. The adjacent soffit incorporates EIFS cladding with a minimum R-7.5 rigid insulation.
