Vertical joint condition between a new concrete wall and an existing concrete wall from the 500 University garage that remains in place. A two-inch minimum gap separates the two concrete masses, filled with expanded polystyrene or expanded foam filler. A blind side applied waterproofing membrane, specifically CCW Miraply-V, runs along the interface to protect the assembly from moisture intrusion.
