A UL-complying steel angle frame attaches to the fire damper sleeve using UL-complying fasteners spaced at two feet on center, with a minimum of two per side all around the perimeter. The steel angle frame fastens to the rated CMU partition using UL-complying expansion bolts per the rated assembly schedule. The fire damper connection and ductwork are sized and detailed per mechanical drawings.
