Mechanical equipment sits atop a vibration isolator supported by a level 22 gauge galvanized iron flashing pan over a modified bitumen membrane, fiberglass base sheet, and three-quarter-inch plywood. Fasteners pass through neoprene washers into the shaped four-inch wood curb, which features two-by-eight joists spaced at twelve inches on center minimum over a built-up roof over plywood deck. Blocking and framing are installed per structural drawings, requiring a minimum eight-inch clearance. Any securment of units into the horizontal platform surface requires a solid quarter-inch neoprene gasket with elastomeric sealant applied on the underside and top immediately prior to installing bolts.
