A painted hollow metal frame is secured to a scheduled wall jamb with a two-inch frame anchor per manufacturer specifications. The wall framing consists of two eighteen gauge steel studs tabbed together typically at all jambs, faced with five-eighths inch Type X gypsum board on each side. A sound attenuation blanket fills the wall cavity where required, and sealant is applied at both sides of the frame interface. A scheduled door hangs within the frame assembly.
