This acoustical metal stud partition assembly features a central metal stud cavity filled with acoustical insulation. Each side of the partition is finished with one layer of one-half-inch fire-retardant-treated plywood backing, one layer of one-half-inch Homasote sound-deadening board, and one outer layer of gypsum board.
