An aluminum door frame integrates with a concrete wall and adjacent light gauge framed wall with interior gypsum board. Continuous insulation is installed per ComCheck requirements against the exterior concrete. The joint between the aluminum frame and the concrete wall is sealed with caulking. An insulated glass door assembly finishes the opening.
