A half-inch thick tempered glass pane seats on a setting block inside a continuous one and one-quarter inch by one and one-quarter inch by one-eighth inch aluminum glazing channel. The glazing channel anchors into the top of a concrete floor slab using non-metallic, non-shrink grout and shims for alignment. Backer rods and black silicone sealant seal the joint on both sides of the glass at the finished floor level.
