Carpet meets VCT or sheet vinyl flooring over a concrete slab at a door threshold with the change of flooring material aligned at the centerline of the door. A black vinyl transition strip model #CTA-XX-C by Johnsonite bridges the two floor finishes, with its installation flange set underneath the resilient flooring. Doors are undercut by three-quarters of an inch except at fire-rated doors and unless otherwise noted.
