A fourteen-gauge cold-rolled hollow metal door frame installs within a twelve-inch concrete tilt-up panel opening, secured with wire tee frame anchors spaced at thirty-two inches on center per manufacturer specifications. A metal drip shield occurs at the head, finished with paint to match the door frame. Three-quarter-inch chamfers and caulking are applied typically at the frame perimeter. The hollow metal door is scheduled separately with no open seams exposed to weather. Wood blocking is provided where the door closer and hinges occur at the head and jamb. A separate overhead door head detail shows a concrete tilt-up panel with a three-quarter-inch V-groove drip above the overhead door jamb hardware beyond.
