A column furring assembly is constructed with 3 5/8 inch cold-formed metal stud framing surrounding a structural column. The cavity is filled with batt insulation to provide thermal or acoustic performance. An insulated plumbing pipe runs through the furred space adjacent to the column, coordinated per plumbing drawings.
