The top of a level 2 ladder access opening features an L2 guard weldment with a safety swing gate constructed from stainless steel. A clear opening width of two feet eight inches is maintained inside the guardrail assembly. A one-quarter inch gap is maintained at the interior wall panel and between the threshold and door panels on three sides. The top rail is provided only on specific sides, with top and mid rails detailed on two sides as indicated.
