This one-hour fire-rated partition assembly features wood studs spaced at sixteen inches on center with five-eighths inch gypsum board applied to both sides. A sound attenuation blanket fills the stud cavity for acoustic control. The partition intersects a metal B-deck roof or floor assembly above, sealed with acoustic sealant on both sides. The base of the wall meets the finish floor.
