An aluminum curtain wall system intersects with a concrete floor slab supported by a steel beam carrying spray applied fire safing. A two-hour fire stop assembly and fire proof insulation seal the gap between the edge of the slab and the curtain wall framing. Continuous sealant and backer rod provide weather sealing at the perimeter joint. The glazed spandrel panel is secured with clips anchored to the building structure.
