A commercial service counter wall assembly features an elevated bar top supported by a hollow structural section steel bracket. The wall framing consists of six-inch metal studs faced with five-eighths-inch moisture-resistant gypsum board on the service side and exterior finishes including board and batten siding. The countertop is set at three feet above the finished floor, incorporating fire-retardant plywood trim and shims as required to level the assembly. Continuous resinous cove base and tile base are scheduled at the floor intersection. Food service equipment and base plate attachment locations are coordinated with separate architectural and structural plans.
