A metal stud bulkhead assembly ties into a structural wall with metal C-H studs and channel studs. The cavity is filled with fiberglass sound batt insulation. The assembly is enclosed with one-inch Type X gypsum board shaft liner and two layers of five-eighths-inch Type X gypsum board on the ceiling finish.
