A metal stud partition framed with type X gypsum board terminates at a fixed glass aluminum window frame. Acoustical ceiling tiles interface with the partition on both sides using wall angles. Shims are provided as required between the framing and the window head. Backer rod and sealant are installed at the joint between the ceiling transition and the window frame.
