This interior partition detail shows a 1/4 inch tempered glass panel set into a 1/2 inch by 1/2 inch aluminum channel embedded in a full bed of clear silicone sealant. The surrounding framing consists of metal stud framing faced with 5/8 inch gypsum board on both sides. Typical corner beads finish the exterior gypsum board corners adjacent to the glass opening.
