This transition assembly consists of a carpet and carpet pad meeting a concrete finished floor over a Gypcrete substrate. A Johnsonite CRS-XX.G.C. reducer strip bridges the height difference between the carpet and the concrete, with a maximum height of one-half inch. The center of the transition strip must align with the center of the closed door where present. The specific size and height of the reducer must be confirmed prior to ordering, and the carpet type is determined per the finish plan.
