A frameless access panel is flush mounted within a gypsum board ceiling with concealed type hardware and a minimum panel size of two feet six inches by two feet six inches. Standard number six buglehead screw fasteners secure the assembly to framing provided by the general contractor. Joints are taped and filled by the general contractor, and surfaces are painted to match the surrounding gypsum board ceiling.
