The elevator door head assembly interfaces with the shaft wall and rough opening at seven feet above the finished floor. The rated elevator door jamb is installed per the manufacturer requirements within the framed opening. An overhead door track is provided by the elevator manufacturer, positioned near the shaft side of the opening. The elevator door threshold sits beyond the rough opening line, aligning with the elevator door.
