Standard hook dimensions and minimum tension embedment lengths for Grade 60 reinforcing bars are defined relative to the face of support. The embedment length ldh is measured along the reinforcing bar to the critical section. Both ninety-degree and one-hundred-eighty-degree hook geometries are detailed showing bar diameter D and tension force T equal to Asfy. Hook sizing and dimensions must comply with standard hook and tie details as scheduled.
