Suspended ceiling grid assemblies require a central compression strut flanked by splayed 12-gauge bracing wires anchored at a maximum forty-five-degree angle. Each wire connection requires a minimum of four tight turns within one and one-half inches at both ends. Main runners and cross-runners tie into the vertical compression strut spaced at every one hundred forty-four square feet. Twelve-gauge vertical hanger wires secure the grid at four feet on center with a minimum of three tight turns in one and one-half inches.
