Continuous rigid insulation and vapor retarder are installed beneath the concrete slab on grade. The exterior foundation wall face receives waterproofing, minimum R-15 perimeter subgrade insulation, and a drainage mat with filter fabric. Compressible fill, backer rod, and sealant are detailed at the slab edge interface. Grade is sloped away from the structure as referenced on civil drawings.
