An offset aluminum storefront frame bears against a concrete wall panel with dual glazing at the head and quarter-inch spandrel glazing below. A continuous sealant bead and backer rod seal the joint between the aluminum frame and the concrete panel. Vertical mullions and the edge of the concrete wall extend beyond the primary section plane. Caulk is applied along the interior interface of the storefront frame and concrete wall.
