The cold-formed steel bottom track is anchored to the concrete floor using power-driven fasteners spaced at a maximum of sixteen inches on center per ICC-ESR-1752. Acoustical sealant is applied beneath the bottom track to seal the floor joint. Gypsum wallboard is attached to the framing using number ten screws. A half-inch wall base is installed at the bottom of the wall where indicated on finish plans.
