An exterior wall section transitions to a scheduled aluminum window system utilizing continuous flashing, sealant, and backer rod at the window head. The assembly features a liquid-applied air barrier and a self-adhered waterproof membrane over glass mat sheathing, insulated with R-19 batt insulation and an interior vapor retarder. Exterior finishes include either an aluminum composite metal panel return with R-7.5 rigid insulation or an EIFS cladding system with R-7.5 rigid insulation.
