A continuous inner guardrail assembly anchors to a concrete beam and an HSS stair stringer. One-and-a-half-inch outside diameter steel pipe posts and intermediate rails form the guardrail, supported by a one-and-a-half-inch steel flat bar handrail. A half-inch thick end plate welded to the structural framing anchors the assembly, with the top of the railing positioned at three feet six inches and the handrail positioned at three feet one and a half inches above the finish floor.
