An adhered single-ply roof assembly is built upon a metal deck with a lightweight concrete fill. A self-adhering vapor retarder sits atop the concrete layer, applied over a vapor retarder primer layer. Tapered polyisocyanurate insulation is adhered above the vapor retarder using low-rise foam adhesive. A half-inch pre-primed gypsum roof cover board is similarly adhered over the insulation. A sixty-mil felt-backed thermoplastic PVC membrane caps the assembly, featuring hot-air welded seams.
