A concrete walk features a thickened edge resting on compacted soil, with expansion or control joints provided at twelve feet each way as detailed on the site plan. The exterior edge is finished with a tooled one-half inch radius. Finish grade sits one inch at sod and one and one-half inches at ground cover relative to the walk.
