Two 2-inch by 2-inch by 3/16-inch by 2-inch long steel angles at the top and bottom secure a scoreboard with a maximum weight of 300 pounds. The angles attach to wall blocking using 1/2-inch lag screws and connect to the scoreboard housing using one #12 self-tapping screw on each leg. The wall assembly incorporates continuous metal backing and a scheduled wall finish over cold-formed metal studs.
