A field-fabricated pipe flashing assembly seals penetrations through a roof or deck system that incorporates rigid insulation. A reinforced membrane extends horizontally over the insulation and turns vertically up the pipe, secured with fasteners and fastening plates installed per the manufacturer's recommendations. A non-reinforced flashing piece laps the transition, while a water stop and stainless steel clamping ring complete the upper seal. Sealant is applied at membrane terminations and laps to maintain weather tightness.
