A twelve gauge ceiling clip formed from a one-and-one-half inch by one-and-one-half inch by two inch wide minimum angle is anchored to the underside of a lightweight or normal weight concrete slab. The clip is bent to align with the hanger wire and maintains a maximum one-half inch offset clearance. The assembly supports suspended ceiling systems.
