This wall section details the curtain wall head connection interfacing with a masonry soldier course. The curtain wall framing member is anchored adjacent to the backup assembly and insulated framing components. A continuous air and vapor barrier wraps the assembly at the transition between the structural floor slab and the exterior cladding. Flashing is integrated at the head profile to direct moisture away from the interior framing.
