Continuous two-by-four wood blocking is secured to the concrete floor using one-quarter-inch by three-inch Hilti Kwik-Con III screws spaced at sixteen inches on center. Plywood subflooring is anchored to wood framing using three-eighths-inch diameter by six-inch lag screws with two-inch washers at sixteen inches on center into the existing subfloor and blocking. At the plywood subfloor, four-by-four blocking is connected with Simpson A34 framing anchors at each end, spaced at sixteen inches on center maximum with two bolts per blocking plate. Additional attachment uses number ten by two-and-one-half-inch flat head sheet metal screws at eight inches on center, and one-quarter-inch by three-inch sheet metal screws at eight inches on center. The wood base finish is installed per the finish schedule.
