About this detail

A structural connection joins a steel stair run and a concrete slab on metal deck at the bottom landing. A painted 2-inch by 12-inch tube steel stringer supports twelve-gauge steel pans and risers, with steel angles welded to側 the stringer per structural requirements. Tread flooring is applied over the pans as scheduled, maintaining an eleven-inch minimum tread depth and a four-inch minimum to seven-inch maximum riser height. The stair framing interfaces with a concrete slab on metal deck, referencing structural drawings for exact attachment and reinforcing.
